Portrait Session with Katrina

Can you say fun?!

OMG I had so much fun photographing Katrina; seriously I can get addicted! I met Katrina mid 2016 when she started working at my old full time job. We hit it off as soon as she started and have been really good friends ever since. When I asked Katrina to model for me, she was all for it! She’s been modeling for a while now and was super easy to pose. Another thing about her is that she’s super talented with hair and makeup! Katrina did her own hair and makeup and also brought with her some amazing wardrobe for the shoot. Luckily I have my share of beautiful wardrobe pieces to change it up for her. Again, we had so much fun and she felt so good after the shoot. Take a look at the photos below!

Since the shoot was pretty casual, we went with a really pretty pink dress that Katrina had used when she was a bridesmaid. Who says those bridesmaid dresses will never be worn again?! She looked amazing in the coral pink and the white backlit was perfect for the photo.

This is my favorite photo from the shoot! I recently bought this dress at a dress shop near my home for a bargain. The dress matched her skin tone as if I purposely bought it for her. It’s really magical honestly. This shot was with a window to the left of Katrina with a reflector behind me.img_3349

This photo, again, the window is to the left of Katrina and the reflector is to the right of her.

Katrina brought in this shimmery outfit that looked amazing on her. It was really fun and festive. I really love how she smiles and how confident she looks in her own skin! This photo was done sitting on the floor with the window above her and a black seamless backdrop fabric.img_3323

These next 3 photos were Katrina’s favorite wardrobe! She said she felt like a princess and honestly, she looked like one too! I bought this dress at the same place the lace dress was purchase. I really got a great deal and I’m so glad I was able to photograph her in them. These photos were done sitting on the floor with the window above her and a black seamless backdrop fabric, like above.
